Our Last Community Service Event:

Annual General Meeting - 12th October 2011

The QUT Chapter Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Wednesday, 12 October at the Gardens Points campus. The AGM made for a great opportunity to reflect on the Chapter in 2011, and begin planning for an excellent 2012. Stefanie Mueller, our University Relations Officer was also in attendance and gave an overview, encouraged interaction with attendees and answered questions. Jennifer Stables, Secretary presided over the AGM.

Congratulations to those who have been elected to be part of the 2012 committee including a new position called "Knowledge Manager' designed to help the new Exec Committee with running events and progressing the QUT chapter in 2012, growing the presence of this wonderful society on campus. Certificates were presented to new members. Kim de Looze, 2011 President, acknowledged the 2011 Executive Committee and presented certificates. Following our AGM, dinner and drinks were served. Congratulations to our new Executive Team for 2012 and best of luck to departing Executive Committee of 2011!

A debriefing, hand-over day and barbecue event is being planned in November 2011 to acquaint this year's exec with next year's committee and to hand over the ropes!
